Literally, it means six specialists working together to determine the treatment direction for a single patient.
For those who choose a pre-treatment plan, the six specialists pursue the best path forward to provide a definitive, personalized treatment plan. This is to demonstrate systematic meetings and efforts to achieve better results.
There are various treatment methods for erectile dysfunction besides surgery.
The most commonly used approaches are oral medications and self-injection therapy. Oral medications that improve erectile function or self-injections designed to look like a fountain pen can temporarily alleviate erectile dysfunction.
In addition, non-surgical treatments such as testosterone supplementation, urethral suppositories, and vacuum erection devices can also help improve erectile function.
Since erectile dysfunction is often caused by poor blood circulation, combining these non-surgical treatments with aerobic exercise can lead to better results.
However, if these treatments fail to produce satisfactory outcomes, surgical options such as penile vein ligation or penile arterial reconstruction may be considered. That said, these surgical methods do not guarantee consistent results, as outcomes can vary significantly among individuals. For this reason, penile prosthesis implantation is sometimes recommended as the most reliable option for achieving effective results with a single procedure.
Yes, at Yezak Urology, revision surgery for male procedures is possible.
Hospitals that operate specialized male revision surgery clinics are not only capable of performing basic procedures but also demonstrate a higher level of surgical experience and skill, often two or more stages beyond standard surgery. This serves as proof of their advanced expertise.
Therefore, if you choose a clinic where a urology specialist is always present and a dedicated revision center is operated, you can expect much better results than from your previous surgery.
At Yezak Urology, we have performed over 14,000 male surgeries, accumulating extensive experience and know-how. Based on this, we operate a specialized male revision surgery center to ensure successful outcomes, so you can visit us with confidence.
Who should consider revision surgery?
- If you previously underwent male surgery at another hospital but are dissatisfied with the shape or size of the penis, additional combined surgery can provide safe and semi-permanent results without side effects. Many patients who were initially satisfied with their previous surgery also visit us for improved outcomes.
- If you had rings, beads, or similar implants inserted that later caused skin damage or pain during sexual intercourse for either you or your partner, and you want them removed but are concerned about a reduction in size, revision surgery can provide a more satisfying result without size loss.
- If substances like Vaseline (petroleum jelly) were injected by a non-medical practitioner, causing pain or complications, revision surgery can safely remove the Vaseline and reconstruct the area with dermal grafts to achieve good results.
The results of penis enlargement surgery vary greatly depending on the individual. Factors such as skin condition and the type of graft material used can affect the outcome. For example, if a material with a thickness of 4mm is used, you can expect the penile circumference to increase by about 4mm.
The BIG5 Combination Surgery is a comprehensive procedure designed to deliver multiple benefits at once. It enhances penile length, thickness, glans size, treats premature ejaculation, and improves erectile strength — five effects in a single surgery. This procedure maximizes male confidence, which is why it is one of the most popular options among our patients.
The cost varies depending on the patient’s skin condition, surgical method, and materials used. On average:
- Length extension: 1.5–2 million KRW
- Penile enlargement: 2–3 million KRW
- Glans enlargement: 2–3 million KRW
- Premature ejaculation treatment: around 1 million KRW
- Erectile enhancement: around 1 million KRW
When added together, the total typically ranges from 8–10 million KRW or more. However, Yezak Urology offers up to a 50% discount for the BIG5 Combination Surgery, significantly reducing the financial burden. Please note that this discount applies only when all five procedures are performed together: partial procedures may have little or no discount. For an exact estimate, a consultation with the doctor is necessary.
You can return to daily life immediately after surgery. Only showering and full-body bathing should be avoided for about a week. Stitches are usually removed within 7–10 days, and by 4 weeks post-surgery, normal sexual activity and masturbation are fully possible without issues.
Circumcision is still a subject of debate, with experts divided between those who believe it should be done and those who believe it is unnecessary. In recent years, the opinion that circumcision is not strictly necessary has become more prevalent, and many people now choose not to undergo the procedure. In fact, apart from Korea and Japan, circumcision is rarely performed proactively in most parts of the world outside religious motivations. Therefore, if there are no medical issues or religious obligations, circumcision is generally not strongly recommended.
One of the main reasons circumcision is performed is hygiene. After puberty, the foreskin should normally retract. However, if it does not retract properly, debris and secretions can accumulate between the foreskin and glans, creating an unhygienic environment. These secretions can lead to infections and disease. Because of this, proper cleaning is essential, but if the foreskin does not retract fully it can be difficult to maintain adequate hygiene, which may cause further problems.
In the past, when it was difficult to bathe regularly and personal hygiene was harder to maintain, circumcision was considered almost necessary. Today, however, with daily showers and improved hygiene practices, circumcision is not essential if there are no related issues. Moreover, circumcision itself can sometimes cause tightness or discomfort during erection, while in uncircumcised men, the foreskin may help protect against abrasions during sexual activity. Therefore, circumcision is not absolutely required.
If circumcision is necessary, it is best to have it done after the age of 13. With advances in modern medicine, circumcision can now be performed with minimal pain and rapid recovery, without the inconveniences associated with older methods. As such, if needed, it can be done simply and safely.
Many men believe that undergoing a vasectomy will weaken their sexual stamina. However, this has no medical basis whatsoever.
A vasectomy is a procedure in which the vas deferens, the tubes that carry sperm produced in the testes, are cut or sealed to prevent sperm from being released during ejaculation. Sexual stamina, on the other hand, is closely related to male hormones, particularly testosterone.
Since a vasectomy does not affect the production or levels of male hormones, undergoing the procedure does not reduce sexual stamina.
Whether surgery is needed for erectile dysfunction depends on the severity of the condition. In most cases, except for patients over 60 who have completely lost erectile function, surgery is not generally recommended.
Typically, medication is the first-line treatment for erectile dysfunction. In addition, injection therapy, radiofrequency treatment, and exercise therapy may also be combined to improve outcomes.
All surgical procedures carry the possibility of side effects. Saying that there are none at all would be an exaggeration and false information. Even men’s surgeries at Yezak are not exceptions.
Like any other surgery, possible side effects include infection, pain, and other complications common to general surgical procedures. In addition, there may be cases where the enlargement effect is less than expected, the shape appears unnatural, the enlargement is excessive, erectile function decreases, or penile curvature occurs.
However, the frequency of such side effects is very low. At Yezak Urology, we make every effort to minimize these risks. To achieve a 0% infection rate, we use antibiotics, maintain thorough sterilization and disinfection of our five-layer operating rooms, and strictly manage and monitor all surgical instruments and facilities.
Furthermore, if any side effects occur after surgery, Yejak Urology promises to handle them with the utmost care and dedication.
Sexual activity should be postponed for at least 4 weeks after surgery.
After male surgery, stitches are usually removed within 10–15 days. Technically, sexual activity could be possible 2–3 days after stitch removal; however, this may cause pain, slow the healing process, and increase the risk of infection. For these reasons, it is strongly recommended to wait approximately 4 weeks after surgery before resuming sexual activity.
Male surgery does not take very long.
Even for the BIG5 combination surgery—which includes glans enlargement, penile enlargement, length extension, erectile enhancement, and premature ejaculation treatment—the procedure rarely exceeds 1 hour and 30 minutes. Most surgeries are completed within 30 minutes to 1 hour. Including pre-surgery consultation, anesthesia, the procedure itself, and recovery time, the entire process typically takes about 2 hours, after which patients can be discharged.
Thanks to this relatively short surgery time, an increasing number of patients are able to schedule procedures conveniently, even after work.
In short, penis enlargement surgery can increase the length of the penis in its flaccid state, but it does not increase the length of the penis when erect. Currently, there is no medical procedure capable of elongating an erect penis. This surgery is mainly performed for men whose penis appears unusually small due to a buried or hidden condition.
A buried penis can make activities like visiting public baths uncomfortable and may cause self-consciousness or stress due to its appearance. Penis enlargement surgery helps make the flaccid penis appear longer, allowing men to regain confidence in their daily lives.
There are two main surgical techniques for penis enlargement: removing the suspensory (circular) ligament to expose a buried penis, and liposuction of the fat around the pubic area to reveal and enhance the visible length of the penis. Some patients may require both procedures, and combining them can lead to a more noticeably longer penis and higher satisfaction.
The causes of premature ejaculation (PE) are diverse but can generally be divided into psychogenic PE and organic PE.
Psychogenic PE often develops from experiences during a first sexual encounter. Anxiety, stress, or pressure that arises from these early experiences can worsen the condition over time. Traditionally, this type of PE has been attributed mainly to psychological factors, although recent studies suggest that physical causes can also play a role.
Psychogenic PE is influenced by negative sexual experiences, personal psychological state, or past trauma. Organic PE, on the other hand, can result from conditions such as urethritis or prostatitis, or from an overly sensitive penis or glans due to heightened central nervous system responsiveness.
A short penis can result from either congenital or acquired causes. Congenital shortness is often referred to as a buried penis, while acquired shortness typically occurs when obesity causes the penis to become hidden within surrounding fat.
Each cause requires a different treatment approach. For congenital cases, surgery is performed to release the suspensory ligament and bring the buried penis outward. For acquired cases, liposuction is used to remove the fat covering the penis, revealing the portion that is hidden inside.
If you are dissatisfied with your penis length, it is recommended to visit a clinic for an accurate diagnosis and receive treatment tailored to your condition.
If you suddenly notice difficulty achieving an erection or feel that your erections are weak, it can be very distressing. For men, problems with erectile strength often lead to feelings of insecurity, anxiety, and loss of confidence. This can be especially painful if it occurs at a young age.
Many men become highly worried and anxious even with minor changes in erectile function. However, except for cases related to male menopause, most issues can be significantly improved with proper evaluation and treatment, so there is no need to worry excessively.
Erectile weakness can arise from many factors, including aging, stress, systemic illnesses, smoking, alcohol consumption, and certain medications. These factors can cause temporary or long-term erectile problems, which is why early detection and treatment are crucial for the best results.
When treating erectile problems, the key is identifying the underlying cause of the weakened erection. Accurate diagnosis is essential to provide the most effective treatment. If you notice any decrease in erectile strength or other related issues, it is recommended to visit Yezak Urology for a precise diagnosis and appropriate treatment.
Premature ejaculation (PE) is a condition in which ejaculation cannot be easily controlled, and orgasm occurs quickly, often before both partners achieve satisfaction. If both you and your partner feel that sexual activity ends too quickly for satisfaction, PE may be suspected. However, there is no absolute standard for diagnosing PE, so a single or isolated experience cannot confirm it.
Typically, PE is diagnosed when ejaculation occurs before penetration or immediately after penetration. Slightly faster ejaculation alone does not necessarily indicate PE.
Ejaculation time can vary greatly due to external factors such as physical fatigue, stress, psychological state, or environmental conditions. Diagnosis takes these factors into account.
At Yezak Urology, PE diagnosis involves a basic consultation, a penile vibratory threshold test to measure glans sensitivity, and a comprehensive review of medical history and medications.
If you suspect you may have PE, it is recommended to visit Yezak Urology for a precise evaluation and accurate diagnosis.
